WhatsApp gearing UP FOR BUSINESSES

With WhatsApp being used by 1 billion people per day, there is no surprise that the company decided to offer premium services for businesses.
Primarily, WhatsApp was primarily used for messaging friends and family, for fun and keeping connected.
 
Now, companies are able to effectively utilize Whatsapp profiles, to have the ability to communicate with potential and existing customers!
WhatsApp are currently testing new features and methods that will enhance a customer and business experience, with this, a “Verified” tick on the business page will confirm if the business is verified, and legit. Judging by the number of online scams and the increasing number of cyber attacks and people having their information stolen, a verified tick could make all the difference!
Currently, this app has not been released soon, but we are expecting a release very, very soon. It’s about time the messaging giant monetizes their app.
There will be two options, a free app that will be for small to medium businesses, and a paid solution that will be for large enterprise businesses.
WhatsApp chief operating officer (COO) Matt Idema told Wall Street Journal that the company may charge businesses in the future but an exact model for that is not ready yet, so there will still be some time to wait before we notice the impact it has on the market.
 
We are extremely excited for the new Whatsapp business app and we think it will change the way people communicate with businesses entirely.
